Department of Psychiatry

The department of psychiatry embraces a progressive ideology reflected in both our clinical services and training of students.

Community-based training sites provide superb clinical experiences for M3 students completing psychiatric clerkships, and new electives for M4s will soon be available.

Development of on-campus outpatient specialty clinics, a multi-disciplinary autism center and regional consultation services employing video-conferencing technology will further enhance clinical opportunities for medical student training.
