Postgraduate Fellowships for Physician Assistants

Recognizing that physician assistant careers are now ranked as the fourth-fastest growing profession in the country, the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford has established a Postgraduate Physician Assistant Fellowship program to provide practicing PAs with advanced training in medical specialties.
 
PAs choosing to expand their skills through a fellowship program at the College of Medicine will be able to deepen their knowledge working side by side with specialists in community-based medical practices, including Cardiology, Nephrology, Urology and Orthopedics.
 
After graduation, PA fellows will receive a certificate of completion from their fellowship program, signifying extended training in their specialty. College of Medicine at Rockford PA fellows will find that they have highly marketable clinical skills, offering them more career opportunities within their scope of practice.
