Falsetti consults on grants for veterans

Falsetti consults on grant to help vets
 
Sherry Falsetti, PhD, associate professor (CT), director of behavioral sciences at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford has been asked to serve as a grant consultant by Jo-Ann Tsang, PhD, associate professor of psychology at Baylor University.  Dr. Tsang is working with the VA medical center. With Dr. Falsetti's assistance, Dr. Tsang is adapting the Multiple Channel Exposure Therapy, designed for women dealing with post traumatic stress disorder, to be used to treat veterans who have been in combat. Dr. Falsetti developed Multiple Channel Exposure Therapy.
 
Dr. Falsetti also developed the Modified PTSD Symptom Scale (MPSS-SR), which is being used internationally and has already been translated into 17 languages.
