2009 Research Day

14th Annual Research Day

Research Day is intended as a forum for medical students, UIC College of Nursing students, university faculty and scientists from affiliated regional institutions to present their research and to learn of recent advances in medically related areas.

The lobby of the College will be set up with poster displays on Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Displays are selected for presentation from abstracts submitted to a review panel from the College of Medicine. Submissions from students and faculty are from areas including basic science, public health, clinical, behavioral and social science research and program activities.

Posters will be on display from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. with authors present to discuss their posters.

The deadline for submitting abstracts for acceptance in the 2009 Research Day is Friday, February 27, 2009 at 5 p.m. Abstracts must be submitted on an approved form and sent as an email attachment to Janet Stull Snow in the department of biomedical sciences.
