Interview Schedule
12:45* - 1:30 p.m.          Dean's Welcome
1:30 – 2:00 p.m.             Tour and talk with medical students
2:00 – 4:00 p.m.             Applicant interviews

* If you arrive early, lunch is available in the College of Medicine cafeteria.

About the Interview

Rockford interviews are conducted in a panel format. Each applicant is interviewed by three interviewers, including two faculty and a third- or fourth-year medical student. The interview is 30 minutes in length. The interviewers will ask questions for 25 minutes and allow 5 minutes to answer any questions you may have.  Interview times are assigned randomly between 2 and 4:00 p.m. Anticipate that there may be some waiting time before your interview.

 

You may park anywhere on campus. There is visitor parking in front of the main entrance. A major construction project is underway, so please allow a few extra minutes for parking.

 

 

The University of Illinois College of Medicine has a discounted rate at the following hotels. When you contact the reservation desk, tell them you are interviewing at the College of Medicine and ask about the discounted rate.  Check the hotel’s website for directions.
