Interviewing at the College of Medicine-Rockford campus

We look forward to welcoming you to the Rockford campus. Interview Schedule
12:00 - 12:30 p.m.        Lunch, Partners Pavilion
12:30 - 1:00 p.m.          Building Tour with Medical Students
1:00 - 1:45 p.m.            Dean's Welcome, Q & A Session for Applicants
2:00 - 4:45 p.m.            Applicant Interviews 1 - 16
                                    Thirty minute panel interviews
 
About the Interview
Rockford interviews are conducted in a panel format. Each applicant typically meets with three interviewers, including two faculty and a third- or fourth-year medical student. The interview is 30 minutes in length. The interviewers will ask questions for 25 minutes and allow 5 minutes to answer any questions you may have.  Interview times are assigned randomly between 2 and 4:00 p.m. Anticipate that there may be some waiting time before your interview.
 
Parking
You may park anywhere on campus. The main entrance is near the back (east) end of the building.

Daily Bus Service from O'Hare Airport to Rockford
Van Galder Bus provides daily roundtrip service. No advance reservation is required. Cost is $18.00 one way. For more information, call 1.800.747.0994 or visit www.vangalderbus.com. You will need to arrange transportation from the Rockford Bus Center to the College of Medicine campus.
