Elizabeth Mendeloff, APN, DNP, is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She has been with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford since 2007. Dr. Mendeloff is a Rockford native with a BSN from NIU. She completed her family nurse practitioner training at the University of Illinois College of Nursing in Rockford, attaining a Master's in Public Health Nursing and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice as well.
With a focus on health promotion, Dr. Mendeloff sees and treats patients of all ages for acute and chronic health problems and wellness exams. Dr. Mendeloff is a clinical preceptor for medical and nurse practitioner students and a certified Nexplanon instructor. She has a particular interest in improving access to vaccinations for children and adults as well as helping to identify elderly women at risk for hip fractures.
In addition to her clinical studies, Dr. Mendeloff is the medical director at the LP Johnson Family Health Center. She is an active member of many committees and is a member of the Ogle County Board of Health and the Winnebago County Childhood Immunization Coalition. She volunteers at various health and wellness clinics in Rockford.
Dr. Mendeloff is dedicated to providing excellence in health care through her clinical practice and teaching medical and nurse practitioner students.
