Biographical Info

Dr. Williams is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine at Kansas City and was chief resident during his third year. Before joining the residency, he was the associate program director for Baylor College of Medicine’s residency program in family medicine. He has also worked in a community practice in Dickinson, Texas. In June 2000, he completed the University of North Carolina’s fellowship program in faculty development. He is the director of fellowships and responsible for faculty development for the College of Medicine. His professional interests include residency education, adolescent medicine, public health issues and faculty development.
