Dr. Fleischman graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and completed two post graduate years of residency before joining UIC. She practiced at Monroe Clinic in Wisconsin as a first year General Practice Pharmacy Resident with a focus in ambulatory (primary) care pharmacy and at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as a second year Ambulatory Care Specialty Pharmacy Resident. She enjoys working with students and residents to expand their pharmaceutical knowledge in the clinic setting. She chairs the Patient Centered Medical Home committee and works with medical residents to develop a plan for meeting scholarly requirements. Her professional interests include chronic disease management, medication and vaccination use for primary prevention, process improvement, and multidisciplinary team approaches to patient centered care.
