PGY2: $66,094.07

Paid certification courses in Advance Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and ACLS
Five additional days per year available for conference attendance
$700 (PGY1)/$1,200 (PGY2/PGY3) education allowance per year available for conference attendance, medical books or software
Access to UIC library website for journal articles, and textbooks as well as borrowing privileges

Outside employment is permissible with the consent of the program director. Presently, there is opportunity for third-year residents to moonlight in local emergency rooms and after-hours clinics. Residents must first obtain an Illinois permanent license.
