  • PGY1: $63,845.58
  • PGY2: $66,094.07
  • PGY3: $68,347.71
  • PGY4/Fellow: $71,185.36
  • Chiefs: $70,847.71

  • Paid certification courses in Advance Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and ACLS
  • Five additional days per year available for conference attendance
  • $700 (PGY1)/$1,200 (PGY2/PGY3) education allowance per year available for conference attendance, medical books or software

Outside employment is permissible with the consent of the program director. Presently, there is opportunity for third-year residents to moonlight in local emergency rooms and after-hours clinics. Residents must first obtain an Illinois permanent license.
