Download iCal FileThe University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford Committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host the third annual Health Equity Summit on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Students, residents, staff and faculty are invited to attend the half-day event focused on Child and Adolescent Behavior Health.
This year's keynote speaker is Samantha Alonis, deputy director in the Bureau of Prevention for the Illinois Department of Human Services.
The panel discussion will include Marilyn Griffin, MD, DFAPA, DFAACAP, behavioral health medical director for Aetna Better Health® of Illinois, a CVS Health Company, Kristen Kenan, MD, MPH, FAAP, assistant professor of Clinical Pediatrics, co-director of the Pediatric Diversity Equity and Inclusion Task Force, Department of Pediatric Community Outreach Liaison, UI Health Clinical Site Director for the Path-2-Purpose and Pathway Studies at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System and Shannon Krueger, director of the Medical Evaluation and Response Initiative Team and clinical associate in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford.
