Course Management/Blackboard

Overview

Blackboard Learn is UIC’s learning management system (LMS). It allows for the creation, administration, tracking, and delivery of digital content via course sites. The Rockford Campus of the College of Medicine mainly uses Blackboard as a repository for resources. Your Blackboard course resources may include:

  • Course syllabus
  • Lecture and/or Lab Schedule
  • Contact information for course faculty and administrators
  • Files for presentations given by lecturers
  • Course handouts
  • TLE (teaching and learning exams)
  • Sample USMLE questions
  • Discussion boards

Students and educators are automatically enrolled in courses for which they are registered or teaching. To access Blackboard Learn, students, faculty and staff must use their UIC netID (do not append @uic.edu after the netID). Simply log in to uic.blackboard.com to access this resource.
