Target Audience: UICOMR faculty members and volunteers who teach medical students, residents, fellows, pharmacy students and other health care professionals.
Learning Objectives:
After completion of the activity, participants should be able to
- Describe the current state of artificial intelligence (AI) and its practical applications in contemporary medical practice.
- Evaluate the potential benefits and limitations of AI-driven tools in enhancing clinical decision-making, patient care, and healthcare efficiency within the next 3-5 years.
- Identify key ethical considerations and potential challenges associated with the integration of AI into medical practice, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the evolving physician-patient relationship.
