Working Happy: Battle Burnout in Health Care
Faculty Development Boot Camp 2025

All University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford faculty, volunteers who teach medical students, residents, fellows, pharmacy students and other health care professionals are invited to attend this session of the Faculty Development Boot Camp, which focuses on battling burnout in health care.
The purpose of the event is to improve the effectiveness of clinical teaching. Roger Kapoor, MD, MBA, FAAD, senior vice president of Beloit Health System and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine and Medical Specialties, will be the presenter.
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:
- Understand the signs and symptoms of burnout
- Recognize the impact of work-related stress on physical and mental well-being
- Cultivate self-care practices to address burnout
- Foster supportive workplace cultures that prioritize employee well-being
The University of Illinois College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The University of Illinois College of Medicine Chicago designates this activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
