Headache Medicine Fellowship honors first graduate of the program

Headache Medicine Fellowship

Congratulations to Sarah Robertson, MD, upon completion of the Headache Medicine Fellowship. She is the first graduate of the program.

Dr. Robertson is board-certified in family medicine and completed her family medicine residency in 2022 at the Mercyhealth Family Medicine Residency Program–Rockford.

She has accepted a position at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Neuro and Headache Center where she will perform consultations and procedures for patients with headaches and facial pain.

The Headache Medicine Fellowship is accredited by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties and sponsored by the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford. Jeffrey Royce, MD, FAAFP, FAHS, is a clinical assistant professor in the UICOMR Department of Family and Community Medicine, and the fellowship program’s director. Kathleen M. Kelly, MD, FACP, is the assistant dean for graduate medical education, the assistant dean for faculty affairs, and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine and Medical Specialties.
