Jan. 16, 2024 Weather Update

Classes canceled

Due to dangerously cold weather conditions in the Rockford area, all classes at UIC Rockford are canceled for M1, M2 and MBT students and in-person operations will be limited on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024. The campus will remain open for essential operations, however the Glenn Netto Health and Wellness Center and most offices will be closed.

Students on clinical rotations should contact their preceptor if unable to attend.

Employees whose duties may be performed remotely should plan to work from home with approval from their supervisor. Employees who cannot work remotely and are unable to work in-person due to the weather, must use appropriate leave benefit time.

Mile Square Health Center-L.P. Johnson Rockford will be closed Tuesday.

Other university-defined essential units that provide critical operations and services will continue normal operations.

Scheduled events on campus may be affected. Please check with organizers and venues for specific details.
