Scope of Practice: September Dogtor of the Month – “Dog Days of Summer”
Dogtor of the Month is a monthly feature about the furry friends of our University of Illinois College of Medicine students. Scope of Practice editors vote on student submissions to name monthly winners, or in other words, our Attending Fur-sician. Through this feature, our hope is to share more of our UICOMR community and bring some joy to our readers.
September’s theme was all about our summer adventures. See our winning dogtors and their stories below!

One of Oakley's highlights from this summer was this beautiful sunset that came out of nowhere during one of our walks down the trail. It was so vibrant that we had to pause our walk and appreciate it! Photo courtesy of Dominic Tagler, M1.
