About
Dr. Abdelmalak is a first-generation physician and proud Canadian Egyptian, of Coptic Orthodox descent, born and raised in Toronto. She graduated with honors from Xavier University School of Medicine in Aruba, and having completed her clinical rotations across the US, she is eager to call Rockford home and explore all the city has to offer. Passionate about medicine and women's health, she is interested in practicing in OB-GYN and has applied to the STRETCH-OB Program. Dr. Abdelmalak is dedicated to building lasting relationships with her patients and providing compassionate care. She believes in empowering individuals to take charge of their health and well-being through education and personalized treatment plans. She is particularly enthusiastic about supporting women through some of the most significant moments in their lives, from childbirth to managing their reproductive health. Outside of medicine, Dr. Abdelmalak enjoys exploring new cuisines and trying out new recipes with her fiancé. She is an avid karaoke enthusiast and loves spending time with loved ones. She is deeply committed to her community and finds joy in volunteering at her local church, where she led children and adult's choir, taught Sunday school and worked at summer camps. Dr. Abdelmalak has a special place in her heart for dogs and children and has volunteered her time at orphanages and nursing homes, as well as at vaccination clinics during our recent pandemic. She is excited to bring her passion for service and healthcare to the Rockford community.
