About
Dr. Hays is a board-certified clinical pharmacist. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy at Rockford and completed PGY1 training at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill. As a member of the health care team at L.P. Johnson Family Health Center, she ensures patients’ medication needs are met by working closely with them to ensure that they understand their medications and are taking them in a safe manner. She also works with the attending physicians and resident physicians to monitor patients and make necessary changes to medications that will improve their overall health. Clinical interests include non-opioid pain management for chronic pain patients, medication therapy management for chronic care patients, and pharmacotherapy for psychiatric disorders.
