About
Dr. King is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs; Chair of the Department of Health Sciences Education; Professor of Clinical Family Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine; and Director of Correctional Health Care Services at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford.
A graduate of Ohio State University College of Medicine, he completed his residency training in family medicine at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. King is an attending physician at the UI Health Mile Square Health Center-L.P. Johnson Rockford and on our family medicine inpatient service at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital. Dr. King has extensive experience in residency education and has been a residency director and he uses this knowledge and experience as part of a team training the next generation of physicians.
