Work history / Positions: Dr. Shiels worked as a hospitalist in St Louis after residency and then worked at Crusader Community Health and in private practice in Rockford until 2018, when she took a position at UICOMR.
Niche: Dr. Shiels is passionate about health professions education and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of our students’ education as they strive to become the most adept and compassionate clinicians they can be.
