Raymond Garcia, MD, accepts the Distinguished Service Award from Dean Stagnaro-Green during the Convocation Ceremony.

The Distinguished Service Award is presented to a nominee who demonstrates outstanding organization and leadership qualities in committee service, administration, health care and medical education at UICOMR, the university level and/or nationally. The 2023 Distinguished Service Award recipient is Dr. Raymond Garcia. He received the award during the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford Convocation Ceremony.

Dr. Garcia is a UICOMR class of 1994 alumnus and was the recipient of the David Mortimer Olkon Award for Excellence in Psychiatry and Neurology.
