Dr. Kenyon awarded Excellence in Teaching Award by APGO

The Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) recently presented the Excellence in Teaching Award to Diana Kenyon, DO, FACOG, clinical assistant professor and clerkship director in the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kenyon is an OB-GYN at Mercyhealth in Rockford.

This award honors outstanding women’s health educators in APGO Member Departments. Award recipients are nominated by their chair and receive a certificate and Excellence in Teaching lapel pin. According to APGO’s website, “The APGO Excellence in Teaching Award was established in 1992 to recognize outstanding teachers in ob-gyn medical education. More than 1,500 physician educators have received this prestigious award since its inception.”
