Jan. 12, 2024 Weather Update

Due to anticipated winter weather conditions, the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford will limit in-person operations on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024. The campus will remain open for essential operations, however the Glenn Netto Health and Wellness Center and most offices will be closed.

Employees whose duties may be performed remotely should plan to work from home with approval from their supervisor.

Employees who cannot work remotely and are unable to work in-person due to the weather, must use appropriate leave benefit time.

Clinical operations and essential services will continue normal operations.

M3 & M4: Students should still plan on attending their clinical sites. Please leave extra time to drive and dress for the weather and your activities. If you feel you will not be able to safely arrive at your destination, please contact your preceptor and myself to request an excused absence.

M1: Students will attend their Core Case on Zoom. A link will be sent to the class via email and posted to your Blackboard site at 8:30AM. Please ensure you open your Zoom application and run any necessary updates prior to class. Please make sure that you are logging in to your Zoom account using your UIC account information.

Medical students may contact Dean Richards with questions at mhr@uic.edu.

MBT classes are canceled.
