Dr. Amrita Jaiprakash is a graduate of the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. She hails from the vibrant city of Mississauga, Ontario, and is passionately Canadian. Her educational background is in Kinesiology and Anatomy, which provides her with a strong foundation in human movement and exercise medicine. She trusts in the positive influence that lifestyle choices can have on overall health and well-being. Her areas of expertise and passion lie in exercise as therapy, immunology, nutritional health, and holistic medicine. She strives to help her patients develop the mindset of inner strength and control of their health and disease. Additionally, she focuses on encouraging preventative practices to reduce visits to the emergency department and hospital.
Outside of professional pursuits, Dr. Jaiprakash enjoys being in the gym, listening to audiobooks, watching rom-coms, and playing Call of Duty. She, her husband and two cats are excited to call Rockford home.
