About
Teresa Johnston is the program director for the Office of Faculty Affairs. She assists the more than 550 University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford faculty members with faculty orientation, communications, training and resources to support all faculty, including the many community faculty who teach UICOMR students throughout the region and the state.
In her role of program director to the regional dean, she supervises the administrative staff in the Office of the Dean and assists the dean with administrative work .
Johnston is a graduate of the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and has extensive experience in the faculty onboarding, promotions and tenure processes from her three years at the College of Medicine Peoria Department of Pediatrics before joining the Office of the Dean in Rockford in 2014. She became even more involved in these processes and more for the many UICOMR academic departments and administrative offices since then.
