About
Judie Heinschel, PhD, PMHNP-BC, earned her adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner certification from the University of Illinois. She received her PhD in nursing from the University of Colorado in 2001. She had 23 years of critical care nursing experience before becoming a PMHNP and has additional certification in motivational counseling and interactive guided imagery sm. Dr. Heinschel has particular interests in exploration of personal issues, relaxation, pain or other symptom relief/management, exploration of meaning and purpose, couples and relationship concerns, fitness (peak performance), anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder and stress-related concerns.
