About
Dr. Pirkle grew up in a small town located in west central Illinois. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Kansas State University before attending medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford. During her time at the College of Medicine, Dr. Pirkle was a member of the Rural Medicine Program which gave her added experience in working with underserved areas. Additionally, Dr. Pirkle earned a master’s in public health with an emphasis in Health Policy and Administration throughout her time at the University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Pirkle is passionate about providing all-encompassing primary care, which includes obstetric care, to underserved populations.
Beyond her medical pursuits, Dr. Pirkle finds joy in traveling, playing board games, and attending sporting events.
