Guaranteed Admission Program Agreement with University of Wisconsin-Platteville

The Guaranteed Admission Program Affiliation Agreement between the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford’s Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology Program and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville offers provisionally guaranteed admission to the Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology Program while the student is finishing an undergraduate degree at UW-Platteville. If accepted into the program, the student may take up to five hours of Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology Program courses in the senior year as a UIC non-degree undergraduate student. Ultimately this coursework will apply toward the MS in Medical Biotechnology Program, and is also transferred back to UW-Platteville to apply toward the undergraduate degree in biology as well.

Guaranteed Admission Program Agreement with Aurora University

The Guaranteed Admission Program Affiliation Agreement between the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford’s Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology Program and Aurora University, in Aurora, Illinois, offers provisionally guaranteed admission to the Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology Program while the student is finishing an undergraduate degree at Aurora University. Students accepted into the program will have the advantage of:
  • Waiver of the Medical Biotechnology Program application fee.
  • Only one letter of recommendation is required as opposed to the three letters normally required.
